This season is filled with stars of all sorts…the Star of Bethlehem, the Star of David, Holiday with the Stars. What better way to celebrate the December fêtes than to make your own Star Bread that you’ll serve many times over.
You’ll start with puff pastry that you will cut, twist, and shape into a star. Next you’ll top it with either sweet or savory sprinkles, perhaps even half sweet and half savory. While the star breads bake, you’ll have an opportunity to browse the store and enjoy a 10% discount on most items. At the end of the baking and shopping spree, you may either taste your creation or take it home to wow your family and friends. You can prepare this bread for any season and any occasion, not just for the holidays (think of stargazing in the summer or celebrating your child’s star performance in the school play).
