Pack your bags (figuratively!) as we kick off the Staycation Series at Fezziwigg’s: Travel the World with Chef Ty. No passport required, just bring your appetite. Throughout the afternoon, you’ll learn simple techniques, build your own dishes, and enjoy a relaxed atmosphere filled with great food and community. This class is perfect for anyone who loves big flavor, interactive cooking, and discovering new culinary traditions.


We start the series with a flavorful trip to Mexico. In this hands-on cooking experience, you will explore vibrant ingredients, bold spices, and comforting dishes inspired by classic Mexican street food. We’ll begin with one of Mexico’s most iconic street foods: Grilled Mexican Street Corn (Elotes). Fresh grilled corn will be
brushed with a creamy, tangy topping and finished with herbs and cheese for the perfect
balance of smoky, salty, and bright flavors.


Next, roll up your sleeves as we prepare crispy chicken taquitos together. You will assemble
and cook your own taquitos and enjoy them with a toppings bar featuring fresh salsa,
guacamole, and sour cream so you can customize your plate.


To finish the afternoon, you’ll enjoy a slice of traditional Tres Leches Cake soaked in three milks
and topped with fluffy whipped cream — a light yet indulgent dessert that perfectly completes
our Mexican-inspired feast.
