In this lively, hands-on cooking class, we’ll explore how fresh ingredients, thoughtful techniques, and global inspiration can transform salads into stunning supper-worthy dishes.
Together we’ll take a culinary journey through several countries, creating three sensational salads that are as elegant as they are nourishing. We’ll begin in the French countryside with a refined Arugula & Poached Shrimp Salad with White Beans, finished with a bright, freshly made pesto that ties the flavors together beautifully.
Next, we’ll travel to Italy to craft a rustic yet sophisticated Panzanella Salad, layered with roasted or grilled vegetables, tender greens, grilled chicken, homemade garlic croutons, and a luscious balsamic vinaigrette.
Finally, we’ll head to Asia for a vibrant “Inside-Out Spring Roll” Salad, bursting with the bright flavors of ginger, garlic, and soy. Crisp cabbage, carrots, green onions, and noodles create the base, while crunchy wontons and smoked sesame seeds add irresistible texture.
