Ellen spent two unforgettable weeks in the South of France this fall, where she was a sous chef in a château. She will share her tips and knowledge with you as she invites you to step into the relaxed elegance of a classic French bistro—where simple ingredients, beautiful technique, and good company take center stage.
This semi-hands-on class will be a flavorful afternoon as she guides you through how to create crisp market greens with lardons and herbed vinaigrette, a gooey baked croque monsieur layered with jambon and bubbling cheese, and finishing with lemony French fruit crêpes filled with luscious pistachio curd and whipped cream.
Along the way, you’ll enjoy insider chef tips, stories from château life, and a few charming French surprises. French wine will be available for purchase, thoughtfully chosen to complement the menu.
