Louisiana has complex flavors where every bite has been built on history & heritage. We are going to focus on Étouffée & perfecting this fabulous dish. Étouffée is French for "smothered," & it features a single type of shellfish (like crawfish or shrimp) smothered in a rich, thick, lighter roux-based gravy, served over rice as an entrée. There is going to be a classic cocktail, Milk Punch, served, which is rich & creamy to enhance your evening.
