Learn how to bring your own sourdough starter to life! In this beginner-friendly class, we’ll explore the magic of wild yeast, flour, and time. You will learn how to create, feed, and maintain a thriving starter and use your discard.
We’ll discuss the science of fermentation, how to troubleshoot common problems, and when your starter is ready to bake.
You will leave with your own bubbling jar of starter and the confidence to bake beautiful artisan loaves, pancakes, pizza dough, and more. All guests will savor some of our Fezziwig’s Chicken Noodle soup, alongside Kim’s sourdough bread with dips, jams, butters, and more to accompany, all while creating your own in this hands-on class! Wines by the glass are available for $9.
